Hi I’m Andy, senior UX/UI and Product Designer with 20+ years of experience across product design, front-end development, and graphic design. I’ve spent most of my career designing experiences that make technology feel approachable, engaging, and rewarding to use. Whether I’m building onboarding flows, crafting game interfaces, prototyping new products, or refining interaction details, I enjoy solving problems through thoughtful design and hands-on execution.

Messy Problems: I enjoy solving messy problems, refining interactions, and untangling complicated systems into experiences that feel easy and natural to use.

Building things: I enjoy being hands-on throughout the process , from shaping design systems and crafting icons to pushing pixels, prototyping interactions, and hammering out front-end code.

Built to Work: I come from the school of thought that if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. I genuinely enjoy rolling up my sleeves, diving into problems, and putting in the effort to get things across the finish line.
Forever Curious: I’m the kind of person who always wants to know how things work. Sometimes that curiosity leads to better products, and sometimes it leads to me disappearing down a rabbit hole.
Lead with Empathy: I try to approach people with patience, understanding, and humility. Whether I’m working with teammates or users, I believe kindness and respect go a long way, and good ideas can come from anyone.
Never Too Serious: I care deeply about my work, but I don’t take myself too seriously. I appreciate a good laugh, enjoy a healthy amount of nerdiness, and firmly believe that teams do their best work when they actually enjoy working together. Life’s too short to be serious all the time.
Offline
When I am not working, I am usually out on a mountain bike cranking up hills and hitting jump lines, or tinkering on personal graphic design projects. I also enjoy baking, binging anime, and dumping credits into pinball machines and old arcade games at my favorite nickel arcade.
