Teeing Up a Better UX
E6 APEX represents a complete modernization of TruGolf's simulator software, combining the visual power of Unreal Engine 5 with a streamlined, user-friendly interface. The redesign focused on improving readability, simplifying navigation, and creating more intuitive controls, all while establishing a design language that reflects the quality and polish expected from modern sports titles. Every aspect of the experience was thoughtfully refined to be more immersive and easier to navigate.
As the lead designer on the project, I was responsible for the UX and UI of the experience, improving navigation, simplifying menu structures, and helping establish a modern, polished visual language. I created user personas,user flows,layouts, graphical elements, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications to ensure a seamless and immersive experience.
